Outside Sales/Design Consultant 406 Blinds

406 Blinds is looking for a creative, outgoing individual to join our team as a Sales/Design consultant. This is a nonexempt, part-time position paid by combination of hourly plus commission. There is potential to earn substantial commission per home sale. This position will require an average of 10-30 hours per week and does not include benefits.

To be a successful sales consultant, you should have great customer service skills and be able to create leads through networking with local realtors, developers, property managers, and homeowners.

• Selecting color schemes, styles, themes, and layouts to bring the approved design to life.
• Working with other professionals to improve and upgrade existing designs.
• Staying up to date with the latest trends.
• Assisting with the marketing of completed designs.
• Ensuring that the clients' message has been conveyed and that they are satisfied with the end product.

A top-notch design consultant is creative with a strong understanding of colors, themes, and textures, and strong attention to details.
The responsibilities of the design consultant include evaluating client needs, recommending blinds, and measuring windows.

• Being comfortable in customer's homes while respecting their space
• Ability to have fun while working
• Reviewing the clients' space and recommend types of window treatments.
• Staying up to date with the latest trends.
• Strong working knowledge of blinds install requirements (will train)
